Itโs the European final and I’m stuck in a difficult situation. I have just 3 seconds to throw the frisbee and no easy options, I know I should play it safe and throw to my bailout on the left, but I am scared of not getting the frisbee past my defender. Instead, I call for my teammate Lola to run for it and trust her to save my ass. See for yourself how it turned out ๐
Some lessons to take to work:
1 ๐๐ผ โ Rely on Your Team
You don’t always need to solve everything yourself. Sometimes, you just need to count on your colleagues. You might even give them a chance to shine!
2 ๐ฏ โ Unity Over Perfection
It’s better to have the same plan, even if it’s not perfect, than a perfect plan that’s not followed by everyone. My team didn’t question my decision on the spot, but trusted my call (they did make fun of me afterwards ๐).
3 ๐น โ Bold Decisions Can Pay Off
Sometimes, you just have to make a bold decision and hope it works out. It’s about trusting your instincts and using the strengths of your team.
4 ๐ฑ โ Continuous Improvement
Even though it went well, there is a lot to learn from this moment. There is always room for improvement, and analyzing these situations can help us transition from good to great.
๐ข What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to ask help from colleagues?
